Kristin Poulin, a senior at Edward Little High School, decorates the “ballerina room” while helping to get the Great Falls Performing Arts Center ready for opening night of the Great Falls High School Haunted House on Thursday. Students from EL, Lewiston High School and St. Dominic Academy have joined forces with Community Little Theatre to create a 10-room haunted house, which will open to the public on Friday. “This is the last opportunity to walk through the old Great Falls School,” said Daryel Duhaime, president of the CLT board of directors. The building will be torn down in December, so students have been free to decorate with paint, chains and fake blood. Doors open on Friday, Saturday and Oct. 21-22 at 4:30 p.m. for children under 12 and at 6 p.m. for those who dare to climb the steps into rooms made to scare adults. Poulin, 17, will be the black swan in the “ballerina room.” Proceeds will benefit CLT.
