FARMINGTON — Mackenzie Conlogue netted a pair of goals in the second half to propel Mt. Blue to a 2-0 victory over Erskine in a KVAC girl’s soccer matchup Tuesday.
Marina West and Makenzie Thompson also contributed for the Cougars (8-5-1) with assists, while veteran keeper Gabby Foy made 14 saves to notch the shutout.
Abby Peabody was strong in goal for Erskine (5-7-2), turning back 17 shots in the contest.

NORTH YARMOUTH — Katherine Millett scored her second goal of the game
with just 1:04 left in overtime to lift North Yarmouth Academy to a 2-1 victory over Telstar in a Western Class C quarterfinal field hockey contest Tuesday.
After a scoreless first frame, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead when Millett converted a pass from Carly Lappaf.
The Rebels (6-8-1) responded just four minutes later when Lindsay Merrill tallied to tie the contest.
Elizabeth Coughlin made three saves for NYA, while Hayley Barter wrapped up Telstar’s 2011 campaign with six saves.
Messalonskee 7, Oxford Hills 1
OAKLAND — Mara Balboni scored a hat trick to lead Messalonskee to a 7-1 victory over Oxford Hills in an Eastern Class A field hockey quarterfinal game Tuesday.
The Eagles took a 3-0 lead into intermission. Lynnae Lvettich contributed two first half goals for Messalonskee.
Heather Verrier scored an assisted goal from Kali Dixon at the 1:18 mark for the Vikings in the losing effort.
Goalies Abi Egan and Shannon Fillebrown shared duties in net for Oxford Hills, while goalie Lexy Cole made a pair of saves to earn the win in net for Messalonskee.
