RUMFORD — Helen M. Ware, 90, of Canton, formerly of Turner, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the Rumford Hospital.

She was born Dec. 15, 1920, in Livermore, a daughter of Harold and Villetta (Randall) Bryant. She was educated in the schools at Brettuns Mills and Canton High School. She worked at the Priscilla Rug Shop in Turner for 33 years, retiring in 1982.

She lived in Turner for 54 years, before moving to Spring Rock in Leeds and later moving to Canton. She enjoyed flower gardening, crossword puzzles, watching and feeding birds and dancing in her younger years.

She is survived by three daughters, Judith Libby and her husband, Jack, of Wilton, Roberta Richards and her husband, Donald, of East Jay and Roxanne Tremblay and her husband, Wilfred, of North Turner; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her former husband, Lloyd Ware; life partner, George Fisher; brother, Lester Bryant; sister, Irene Quimby; and great-grandson, Jeremy Munson.
