PORTLAND — Goodwill Industries of Northern New England will hold the second annual Ghoulwill Ball at Port City Music Hall from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The fundraising event will benefit Goodwill’s Supported Employment Services, which provides adults with disabilities the support they need to keep their jobs.
Tickets are $25 each, two for $40, and are available at www.goodwillnne.org/ghoulwill.
The Ghoulwill Ball is an opportunity for guests to dress in their Halloween best. The costume contest will offer up the following prizes: Most creative use of Goodwill finds: $250; best group theme: $250; people’s choice: $250; grand prize: $500.
The event features live music from the Waiters, dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Bring your Goodwill receipt that shows you purchased part, or all of your costume at Goodwill, and you will be entered into a raffle for a $100 Goodwill gift card. A photo booth, fortune teller and other surprises round out an evening of spooktacular fun.
Photos from last year’s event are available on the Goodwill Facebook page.
