LEWISTON — A Memorial Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Eveline Michaud was celebrated by Monsignor Marc Caron Saturday morning at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. During Mass the New Testament reading was proclaimed by Mark Leino, and the Prayer of the Faithful was recited by Mark’s wife, Mariette Leino, Eveline’s niece.Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Mariette and her son, Caleb Leino. Family members comprised of Mark and Josh Leino, Mark, Diane and Sarah Lopez, as well as Melody Mahder, sang “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace” during Mass.

Graveside committal prayers were recited by Eveline’s cousin, the Rev. Raymond Lebel, at St. John’s Cemetery in Brunswick. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the 99 Restaurant in Topsham. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston
