In the community: “Star Barn Uniques,” the gift shop of the B&B, stocks items from more than 40 local and Maine based vendors. Star Barn takes no markup whatsoever on the sales. Star Barn wants the local crafters to have an outlet for their creativity and do our small part to boost the local Franklin County economy. Our no commission/no markup policy gives our Maine-only vendors the full benefit of their efforts.

Chamber involvement: I have been a member of the Franklin County Chamber for eight years and have served on the board since early 2007. I have served on several committees over this period (Scholarship, Fair Booth, Welcome Guide, Golf, Chester Greenwood) and now chair the Scholarship Committee. The Chamber has an integral role to play in our region and I am excited to be a part of helping to further its mission and enhance the local business environment.
