LEWISTON — The YWCA will offer an eight-week session of visual arts classes beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1, with art instructor Lynda Leonas.
Leonas’ past experience includes working as a K-6 visual arts teacher at Sherwood Heights Elementary School in Auburn and as the former owner/operator of studioELL Fine Arts Center in Lewiston.
Students ages 5-18 will produce individual works of art in two-dimensional illustration with pencil, charcoal, soft and oil pastels; painting in watercolors and acrylics; as well as works of art in three-dimensional sculpture with clay.
The program for grades K-2 will take place from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and cost $75. Grades 3-6 to have class from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Cost is $75. Grades 7-12 will meet from 7-8:30 p.m. Cost is $90.
