What is broken in your city? What problem do you perceive, and how will you, as an elected leader, fix it?

We need to have more jobs, so we need more business brought in to create more jobs. I’d work closely with city staff and do what I can to recruit businesses into the city.

What is your opinion of the casino? Would you urge Maine voters to support it or not? And why?

Yes, I’d support it, and for the same reason. We need jobs the casino will bring and it will trickle down and create more jobs. I think it will keep the younger generation here. It gives them a reason to stay. I think it would help, or at least be a step in the right direction.

What is your solution to improving Lewiston’s downtown housing stock, and why would it work?

The buildings, a lot of them do need to be fixed. I don’t know if there are loans people can get to come in and redo them. But they do need to be improved.
