LOS GATOS, Calif. — Barbara Eveleth Mahan, 83, of 942 Pomeroy Ave., Santa Clara, Calif., formerly of Auburn, died on Oct. 30.

She was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Auburn, the daughter of Harold F. Eveleth and Dorothy Paul Eveleth.

Barbara was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1947. She was employed by Prudential Life Insurance for many years.

Barbara will be remembered lovingly by her sister-in-law, Eva Eveleth; her nieces and nephews; her two stepdaughters; and family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Mahan; her brother, Samuel Eveleth; and sister, Dorothy (Eveleth) Crocker.
