LISBON — After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in town, Danny Zuko’s world is thrown upside down when Sandy appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a rock ‘n’ roll celebration of growin’ up, cruisin’ with friends and goin’ steady.

Lisbon High School’s Drama Club will present “Grease,” at  7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13.

This production of “Grease” features songs made famous by the original stage production such as “Summer Nights,” “Greased Light’nin’,” “We Go Together” and many more.

“Grease” has proved that a musical love story, bursting with rock ’n’ roll, 1950s pop culture and an irresistible mix of teenage angst and young romance is timeless and universal. “Grease” is the ultimate feel-good, pick-me-up musical –  packed with fun, energy and vibrant physicality. The show is guaranteed to  leave everyone hand-jiving the night away with “a-wop-bop-a-loo-bop, a wop-bam-boom.”
