LEWISTON — Memorial services honoring the life of Lorraine Federico Poretta were held Monday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Monsignor Marc Caron presiding. During the service, Lorraine’s close friend, Michelle Bourque, proclaimed the first reading. Soloist, Cassandra Griesbach sang “Ava Maria,” “On Eagle’s Wings” and “Because You Love Me” during the services. Lorraine’s son, David Federico shared words of remembrance of his mother prior to concluding services. Then all in attendance were invited to greet Lorraine’s family with their own personal condolence before departing in procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, where Monsignor Caron recited committal prayers. The urn bearers were Britney and Jessica Nadeau and Tobey and Chad Federico, as well as honorary bearers, Denni Federico and Stacey LaFlamme. At the conclusion of services at the cemetery, all were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant.
