Accidents
Auburn
* A vehicle driven by James R. Mercier, 41, of Mechanic Falls, hit a vehicle driven by Karen L. Lebel, 46, of Poland, while Lebel was stopped in traffic in the westbound lane of Court Street at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Mercier’s 1996 Chevrolet was towed due to disabling damage. Damage to Lebel’s 2012 Volvo was classified as functional.
* A vehicle driven by Kayla Smith, 19, of Lewiston, hit a vehicle driven by David A. Shafer, 26, of Lisbon Falls, while Shafer was stopped in traffic in the northbound lane of Main Street at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Damage to Shafer’s 2006 Toyota was classified as functional; to Smith’s 1997 Dodge, minor.
