LEWISTON — The Franco-American Heritage Center will celebrate a rare date — 11.11.11 — with a dance party. Playing will be modern rock band Rabbit Troop Forever, featuring former Franco center staffer Andrew Moreau.

DJ Fitts of Club Texas, also a regular feature at local clubs, will drop digital platters of electronic dance music and club remixes of modern pop tracks. He will be accompanied by DJ Hanzo.

The center’s Heritage Hall will take on the feel of a city nightclub with new dance floor lasers, a booming sound system and video jockeying with large display screens.

Anyone attending will be entered to win prizes from a drawing at 11:11 p.m.

The party for people 21 and older will begin at 8 p.m. Admission is $11. The Franco center is at 46 Cedar St. Advance tickets available at francocenter.org.
