On August 4, 2012, Kora Shrine will host its first charity ride: “Teddy Bear Run, Kare for Kids.” The event will bring together motorcycle and car enthusiasts at Twitchell’s airport in Turner for a ride-in and day of fun, food, and entertainment. The purpose of the ride-in is to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Admission to the day’s events will be a donation to this important and worthwhile charity. All net proceeds from the day’s events will be donated to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Shriners Hospitals are a system of 22 hospitals that provide care to children with orthopedic, burn care, and other special health care needs regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
