PARIS — Pets  and their owners are invited to audition for the Christmas for Teens and Responsible Pet Care Show. On Friday, Nov. 18, dogs and other leash-trained pets are invited to audition for an appearance in the benefit show, to be held Friday evening, Dec. 2, and Saturday afternoon, Dec. 3.

Pets that interact well with other animals are sought for a special nativity scene, as well as making brief appearances in other scenes. Owners and handlers have to be able to control the animals on short leashes and they need to respond to simple commands.

Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, at the Forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Pets must be on a short leash for the duration of the audition. If a pet wears a costume, a neckerchief or ribbon, owners are asked to bring it with them.
