TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education offers learning for work and life.

On Nov. 30, there will be a workshop titled “German New Medicine.” Discovered by a German Doctor, GNM offers a completely new understanding of what we commonly call “diseases” based on five biological laws. This class will present an overview of this entirely different medical model – different from Western and alternative medicines as we now know them.

Food chemistry starts Dec. 5 for ages 9-12. In this camp, children will play with their food. Students will learn what makes rock candy so hard, how ice cream is made and even how to grow their own name.They will also learn about mixtures and compounds and what happens when ingredients are mixed. Chemistry never tasted so good.

In a one-night class on Dec. 6, participants will learn to make German Stars. Four long strips of paper are used to create three dimensional, sixteen pointed stars. Dipped in melted paraffin and sprinkled with glitter, they look lovely on your holiday tree.

Learn how to properly operate and maintain a snowmobile in a safety class to be held Saturday, Dec. 10. Laws, safety and responsibilities will be covered. Passage of a final exam is required and students must attend the entire class to receive a certificate.

Meeting Your Guardian Angel is a one-night workshop on Dec. 13. Participants will receive guidance and support, leaving them with a sense of connection and comfort.

TourBusters offers two trips in December. On Saturday, Dec. 3, see “Peter Pan” under a tent, a theatre in the round in Boston. Live actors combined with cinema. On Saturday, Dec. 17, see the Radio City Christmas Show in Boston with the Rockettes.
