LEWISTON — Alfred “Red” Morrison, 81, of Poland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 19.

He was born July 10, 1930, the son of Alfred R. Morrison Sr. and Mary Morrison. He resided his whole life in Poland.

“Pop” retired from Bath Iron Works in 1995. He was a member of the Tyrian Lodge No. 73 AF and AM and the Kora Shrine.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Elaine Morrison; his sons, Daniel and his wife, Marjorie, William Sr. and his wife, Nancy; daughter-in-law, Gail Morrison and Daniel Blanchard; seven grandchildren, Todd Morrison and Tina Ray, Eric and Beth Morrison, William Jr. and Hannah Morrison, Karen and Michael Dehetre, Scott and Karen Morrison, Dana Morrison and Kelly Tripp, Laura and Nicklas Sandberg; 17 great-grandchildren; along with many dear and treasured friends and family.

He was predeceased by his son, David Morrison; his sister, Alice Piper; and three great-grandchildren.
