LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 17 were: first place, Muriel Webber and Stan Tetenman; second place, Louise Pelletier and Louise Carey; third place, Cecile LeBlond and Robert Oliver; fourth place, Sandy Verrill and Gerry Therrien; fifth place, Pat Records and Norm Bissonnette.

Due to Thursday being a holiday, the next game will be played at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23. For further information, call Roger Labbe at 212-9253.

Pie sale

POLAND — Ricker Memorial Library will hold a pie sale beginning at noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the library, 1211 Maine St.

All pies are $10. Money raised goes toward audio/video equipment for the library’s community room.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 15 were as follows: first, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; second, Linda Leotsakos and Janet Arey; third, Pat Garcia and David Lock; fourth, Jeanine Kivus and Luke Merry; first in B, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.

Winners at Schooner Estates on Nov. 16 were: first, Les Buzzell and John Hackett; second, Paul Barber and Luke Merry; third, Claire Lyons and Rosemarie Goodwin.

Winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 21 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and Les Buzzell; second, Anna Vitiello and Luke Merry; third, Lue Bilodeau and Alberta Turner; first in B, Lue Bilodeau and Alberta Turner; second, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.

Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. and every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in Maine.

Free Thanksgiving

LEWISTON — A free Thanksgiving lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, at Lewiston Root Cellar, 89 Birch St.

Seniors meeting

SABATTUS — The Sabattus Seniors will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Maxwell Hall. Doors will open at 11 a.m. A meal of roast pork loin will be served at noon, followed by a meeting and Christmas Party consisting of games and prizes.

The last trip for the year will be to Hollywood Slots on Dec. 13. The cost per person is $24. For more information call Jean at 784-5264. Everyone is invited.
