RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Charlene M. Johnson was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Here I Am Lord,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” and “The Summons.” Readings were done by her granddaughters, Erica Brown and Kelly Metivier. Gift bearers were her daughters, Nancy Bizier, Mary Brown, and Gloria Cote. Personal reflections written by her granddaughter, Angela Brown, were read by the Rev. Philip Tracy. Pallbearers were Jason Brown, Michael Metivier, Jeff Thereau, and Yves Bigirimana. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at the home of Mary Brown. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
