BRUNSWICK — Richard M. Fletcher, 79, of Ocean Park and formerly of Winslow, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Mid Coast Hospital.
He was born in Lewiston, Jan. 5, 1932, a son of Malcolm and Verna Rideout Fletcher. Richard grew up in the Lewiston and Sabattus area and lived in Winslow for many years. He owned and operated several pizza shops and used car dealerships for more than 30 years.
Richard was a member and past president of the Waterville Exchange Club and the Winslow American Little League.
Surviving are his two sons, Richard Fletcher, Jr. and his wife, Tamara of Richmond, Ind. and Scott Fletcher and his wife, Tina of Pittsfield, two daughters, Katherine Badone and her husband, Robert of Westfield, Mass. and Nancy Morrell and her husband, Steve of Brunswick; a brother, Robert Fletcher of Florida; a sister, Harriet Ray of Ocala, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fletcher was predeceased by his wife, Priscilla Walker in 2005.
