FARMINGTON — Mallett and Cascade Brook schools will hold their 20th annual Helping Hands food project on Friday, Dec. 2.

Students will begin a walking rotation from Mallett School to the Farmington Community Center at 9:15 a.m. They will rotate until all the food they have collected has been delivered the Community Center.

Cascade Brook students will walk to the Community Center and deliver their food.

Food donations have been collected at the schools since the beginning of November. Students are asked to bring dry and canned goods or personal items from home. After the food is delivered, children have the opportunity to view the many boxes of collected items. Food is sorted by volunteers and loaded on a truck by Mt. Blue High School students and transported to the Care and Share Food Closet.
