Henry Farrington of Ace Flagging directs traffic on Lincoln Street in Lewiston on Wednesday morning. The project to widen the road and move utility poles will button up for the winter in the next few weeks. Numerous trees were removed between the road and the Androscoggin River where, according to Lewiston Public Works Director Dave Jones, there are plans for a walking and biking path, but funding for that project has not been secured. In the spring, the final coat of pavement and landscaping will be completed.
