Elks memorial

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Elks Lodge 371 will honor departed members in a special ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 4, at the lodge on 1675 Lisbon St. Those honored will include Thomas Janus, Joseph McCarthy, Maurice Locke, Guy Theberge, Albert Strong PER, Arthur Kesaris Jr. PER, Walter Jasud, John Judd, James MacDonald, Leo Richard and Vital Turmenne. The ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m. and a brunch will follow. Open to all members, guests and families of departed brothers.

Holiday craft

AUBURN — Auburn Public Library will hold a drop in holiday craft workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 17, in the Maggie Trafton Program Room, 49 Spring St.

Supplies will be provided to create handmade cards and ornaments. Participants should bring any photos they’d like to incorporate into the project.
