LEWISTON — Thoma Papagjika, 80, a resident of Turner, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center, Nov. 29.
Thoma Papagjika was born Sarande, Albania, May 14, 1931, the son of Koco and Antigoni (Sheti) Papagjika. His passion was books, and he was reading until the day he died.
While in Albania, he was an accountant and the mayor of his home town of Sarande. He will be returning home to be buried with his family in Sarande, Albania, which he loved with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Natasha; and his three children, Antigoni, Alketa and Ervin.
