AUBURN — April Joyce of Auburn has been appointed community director of the Central Maine region of the Maine Chapter of March of Dimes.

An active community volunteer with the Auburn YMCA and the Dempsey Challenge at Central Maine Medical Center, Joyce is an attorney and previously served as an assistant district attorney with the city of Philadelphia. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and a JD from Temple University.
