LEWISTON — The Girls of L/A will perform a repertoire of songs spanning five decades at the Franco-American Heritage Center’s New Year’s Eve party.

Revelers can expect a Motown medley featuring songs by the Supremes, Aretha Franklin and others, as well as rock ‘n’ roll hits by Heart, Pat Benatar and Tina Turner.

Making up the Girls of L/A are Debbie Morin, Bette Sanborn, Jeannie Martin, Kathy Haley, Laurie Sidelinger and Bonnie Edwards.

The evening will kick off with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by dinner, the concert at 8:30 p.m. and dancing at 10:30 p.m. with DJ Greg Curry.

People may purchase a $50 ticket that includes the cocktail reception, seated dinner, concert and after-party with dancing. Or, they may buy a $25 ticket for the concert only.

Morin has performed in and around New England and Canada for more than 30 years. She performed with the 1970s and ’80s band Good ‘n’ Plenty as well as the popular country-rock band Cheyenne.

From Maine to Texas, Sanborn has performed since her early teens in bands like 7th Heaven, Good ‘n’ Plenty and Chameleon. Martin started singing professionally at age 13 with the rock band The Travelers. She has appeared on the TV show “You Can Be a Star” and recorded an album, “Just the Way I Am.”

Haley, of Auburn, has performed as church organist, choral accompanist and pianist for many local musical theater productions, as well as a lead vocalist and founding member of Good ‘n’ Plenty.

For almost two decades, Sidelinger performed with the Lewiston-based band Horizon, and has traveled from Canada to Boston singing her “songs from the heart.”

Over the past 35 years, Edwards has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Performing her gutsy blues style, she has opened for national artists such as Dr. John, Gatemouth Brown, Johnny Copeland, Jimmy Rogers, Savoy Brown and Eddie Kirkland.
