RANGELEY — The Wilhelm Reich Museum will host “Sky Program” on the second Monday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It will start on Dec. 12 and continue throughout the winter months at the museum’s Conference Center on Dodge Pond Road.
Using an 8SE NexStar Computerized Telescope, participants will learn about the telescope, filters and lenses, view planets, stars and the moon. They will also learn about the constellations and how to view the night sky with binoculars.
Participants are urged to dress warmly and bring their own binoculars and lawn chairs, as the museum has a limited supply.
The telescope was funded by grants from The Maine Community Foundation and The Norcross Wildlife Foundation. The program has been created for all ages as part of the museum’s Natural Science Program and is free of charge.
