LEWISTON — The Edward Little High School Chamber Singers, accompanied by pianist Claire Amero, will present a holiday program at the USM Lewiston-Auburn Senior College “Food for Thought” 11:30 a.m. luncheon on Friday, Dec. 9.

The coed group, composed of 33 vocalists, is an auditioned ensemble that performs a diverse repertoire, including pieces from many time periods and from around the world.

The students sing throughout the community at a variety of civic and artistic events, as well as work on their individual voices and compete at local and state festivals. The program will feature traditional holiday favorites, including pieces in English, German, Latin and Hebrew.

Comprising the choir are Lucas Bourget, Danielle Brown, Patrick Buzza, Jacqueline Byron, Samuel Chamberlain, Patrick Cowan, Connor Crawford, Meredith Crawford, Benjamin Davis, Faith Daye, Jordan Douglas, Nika Faulkner, Cameron Gelder, Duncan Gelder, Midhun Gelder, Addison Goodwin, Eric Gooldrup, Zacharie Hurd, Owen Kane, Nicole Latulippe, Alison LaVerdiere, Nicole Leavitt, Jade McKinnon-Cote, Amanda Nadeau, Claire Ross, Emily Schario, Heather Staples, Matthew Taylor, Peggy Teng, Taylor Tyrrell, Paige Weber, Amanda Williams and Keira Wooten. Beth Labrie is director.

Senior College, now in its 13th year, presents the monthly luncheon program in the Function Room, 170 at USM LAC. The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with advance reservation or $8 at the door. Reservations must be made by noon Thursday, Dec. 8, by calling 753-6510. Any late callers will be considered “at the door.”
