Last year’s record: Boys: 10th at Class B states; Girls: 4th at Class B states.

Returning skiers: Boys: Senior — Dylan McFarland; Junior — Caleb Taylor; Sophomore — Patrick Banahan. Girls: Senior — Erin Luce; Juniors — Siri Norris, Catherine Barry; Sophomores — Elise Luce, Emily Listowich.

Key losses: None.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Seniors — Parker Kennedy, Quincy Mitman, Tristan Frye. Girls: Senior — Ashley Shurtleff; Freshmen — Ruthie Fault, Hattie Rosenberg.

Outlook: The girls are primed for a run at a state title, while the boys finally have some depth. The Luces lead the girls’ squad that placed well in a tough Class B field a year ago. The entire team returns, and has added some solid depth, and should be string all season, in both the MVC and in state competition. The boys will be deeper than in years past and will almost undoubtedly improve upon last year’s standing.

Coach’s comment: “The (girls’) team hopes to build on last year’s finish with a stronger, full team.
