Coach: Scott Morrison (sixth year)

Last year’s record: Boys: Sixth in KVAC; Girls: 13th in Class A, fifth in KVAC

Returning letter winners: Boys: Juniors — Andrew Paione, Jordan Stubbs, Dan Gantz; Girls: Seniors — Melissa Paione, Hayley Barton, Gabby Laperriere; Juniors — Samantha Goulette, Rachel Gagne.

Key losses: Hope Mowry, Tiffany Helsel.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Junior — Tyler Bazinet; Girls: Junior — Jessie Levesque; Freshman — Olivia Paione.

Outlook: The Red Eddies have the deepest and most talented girls teams in the area, headed by Melissa Paione, the defending New England champion in the 100-yard breaststroke. EL has lost only one dual meet in the last two years, and that success should continue with Paione, the addition of her talented younger sister, Olivia, and solid veterans Barton, Laperriere, Goulette and Gagne. The boys are rebuilding around a solid junior nucleus.

Coach’s comment: “I think we’ll have a great dual meet season. I expect better things at the conference meet and state championship.”
