Promising newcomers: Freshman — Maria Valente (5-7 forward).
Outlook: The Patriots return seven varsity players but only Chaplin and Cote are regular returning starters. GNG has some height but will look to be aggressive and play an uptempo style at both ends of the floor. Andreasen is hopeful the team can improve quickly and challenge for another tourney berth in Western B.
Coach’s comment: “Although our team returns seven varsity players, they are generally lacking major varsity experience. The team has worked hard in the preseason and has formed a cohesive unit that works well as a team. I look for the team to improve as the season progresses and will challenge for a tournament spot in February.” Coach Mike Andreasen.
