Key losses: Jillian Perron (center), Liz Leclair (guard), Lindsey St. Laurent (forward).
Promising newcomers: Junior — Cherokee Clements (5-2 guard); Sophomore — Kiana Thompson (5-5 guard); Freshman — Addie Brinkman (5-10 center/forward).
Outlook: The Cougars were a young promising team last year and made some progress in Eastern A. Mt. Blue hopes to take another step up this season. The Cougars graduated starters in Perron and Leclair but return a solid group of upperclassmen, including eight juniors. Philbrook hopes that added seasoning will lead to more consistent play and some strong finishes in close games.
