Key losses: Sasha Flaherty (forward), Kelsey Nason (forward), Nikki Scott (guard), Sarah Warner (guard).
Promising newcomers: Junior — Liz Glover (5-4 guard); Freshmen — Lily Beauregard (5-9 forward), Gabby Stewart (5-7 forward), Ashleigh Dunham (5-6 guard), Micheala Ketchen (5-9 guard).
Outlook: The Ramblers return just one starter in Scott and about five points per game in offense. Winthrop is very young and most of its post play are newcomers. Belanger, Carlson and Scott give the Ramblers three seasoned players and a nucleus to build around.
Coach’s comment: “We will be very young and lack experience, but I think we will get better every day. A tough opening part of the schedule will be a challenge, but we are all excited about seeing how much we can accomplish throughout the season.” Coach Lonney Steeves.
