AUBURN — Bedard Pharmacist Joseph Stokinger, Pharm D., has been promoted to pharmacist in charge for Bedard Senior Care Pharmacy at 359 Minot Ave.

He most recently served as a pharmacist at Bedard Pharmacy at 61 College St., Lewiston.

A Boston area native, Stokinger graduated in 2010 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. While there he was an active member of Kappa Psi, a nationally recognized professional pharmaceutical fraternity. He served as professional affairs chairman, overseeing philanthropic projects, and later went on to hold a regional position.

Stokinger is a member of the Maine Pharmacy Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association. He resides in Lewiston.
