AUBURN — Lester D. Farris, 75, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Dec. 13, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born Dec. 14, 1935, to Donald and Thelma (Jacobs) Farris. He was a master of all things he set out to do. His employment accolades included military service in the Army Airborne, welder, police chief in Union, truck driver and personal transportation driver (Western Maine Transportation,) until retirement, with his loving dog, Buffy.
He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge-Acacia Lodge 121 of Durham. His love, devotion and time with his children, grandchildren and friends was his biggest priority. Second was his vast love for laughter and food.
He is survived by his children, Toni Kish, Tammy Couturier and husband, Dan Couturier, Marcel Seeley and wife, Debbie, Belinda Deming and significant other, Kerry Scott and Tracy LeBlanc; grandchildren, Christopher, Katheryn, Nicol, Kali, Beth, Kristen, Eliza, Justin, Amanda and Katie; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Mason; sister, Marion Schwab; and brothers, Kenneth Farris, Tony Farris and David Farris.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia J. Farris in April; parents; sisters, Donna Farris and Mary Smith; and son, Jeff Farris.
