LEWISTON — A surprise 50th wedding anniversary party was held recently at the Sedgley Place Country Inn Dining in Greene to honor Robert and Nicole Blouin of Lewiston. The celebration party was given by their children, Jeffrey Blouin and fiancee, Sue Hatherley, of Lisbon, Donna Frechette and her husband, Michael, of Winthrop and James Blouin and his wife, Lyn, of Westford, Mass.

Mr. Blouin and the former Nicole Boucher were married at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Church on Oct. 21, 1961. Also attending the celebration were their grandchildren, Justin Blouin and his wife, Chelsea, Cameron Blouin and his guest, Kristen Lacasse, Nathan Frechette, Kayla Frechette, Jenna Blouin, Christian Blouin and Michelle Hatherley and her guest, Michael Graham. Other family members who attended were Ginette Gagnon, Joanna Blouin, Pauline Boucher and Claude and Linda Boucher.

The family celebration continued at the home of Donna and Michael Frechette in Winthrop.
