LIVERMORE FALLS — RSU 73 directors voted Tuesday to extend Superintendent Bob Wall’s contract one year — from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013 — board Chairwoman Denise Rodzen said Wednesday.
The vote was 12-1 with Ann Souther of Livermore Falls abstaining.
His salary didn’t change, Rodzen said. He is being paid $91,219, the same as he was paid as superintendent of Jay.
The board previously appointed Wall, of Lewiston, to lead the new consolidated district that encompasses Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls beginning July 1.
He was superintendent of Jay schools since 2003 and prior to that was superintendent of Union 29 in the Poland area for 13 years.
