AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Jacqueline Bonin was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lupo Monday at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. At the beginning of Mass Jackie’s children, Diane Therrien, Rachel Grenier and Mark Bonin draped their mother’s casket with a white burial pall which signifies Jackie’s rebirth into a new spiritual life with God. During Mass words of remembrance were shared by Jackie’s son, Mark Bonin and Jackie’s daughter, Rachel Grenier. Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Father Lupo recited committal prayers and then was followed by a musical tribute by Jackie’s grandson, Thomas Bonin. Bearers were Brent Grenier, Joseph and Eric Therrien as well as Matthew and Thomas Bonin. At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant. Arrangements by Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
