The presidential elections will be like going to a circus because what we have to look forward to, in terms of presidential candidates, compares to a cage full of monkeys trying to figure out which end of a banana they should peel. And, once they have it peeled they eat the peeling and waste the banana, identical to what our politicians are doing in Washington, wasting taxpayers’ money.

America has absolutely nothing to look forward to except remaining standing with both feet in the same place, that being left behind by President Barack Obama.

Nothing will change. The candidates will do nothing to repair the damages that continue to haunt us from the previous administrations, and the American people will need to get down on their knees and pray to God for a miracle that America will not be taken over by a communist regime that we are indebted to.

In my last letter to the editor, I mentioned both parties should be combined for quicker action to control spending, reduce the deficit, create jobs, provide solutions for health care, find the means to repair a crippled economy, end the war in Afghanistan and appoint a chief operating officer instead of wasting our time electing a president.

Moreover, praying to God is what America needs to prevent the light at the end of the tunnel from burning out and avoid the inevitable chaos.

Robert Lacombe, Sabattus
