WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine searching for a missing 20-month-old Waterville girl are planning to brief the press on the progress of their investigation.

A news conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Waterville.

On Christmas Day, The home where Ayla Reynolds lived before her Dec. 17 disappearance remained sealed with crime scene tape.

Ayla was reported missing by her father, Justin DiPietro.

Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey had said that investigators wouldn’t be making public statements about the search.
