SIDNEY — Laurel Ann Hoel, 51, died Dec. 25.

She was born in Waterville, Aug. 7, 1960, the daughter of John and Eleanor (Estes) Noel. Laurie graduated from Lawrence High School in 1978.

Laurie worked many years in the medical field, most recently for Waterville Orthopedics.

She loved being outside, relaxing in her lawn chair on the dock, taking evening canoe rides, or her absolute favorite, floating in the swimming pool. She enjoyed her flower gardens and spending time with “the boys” Colby and Bates.

Besides her parents of Fairfield, she is survived by her husband, Thomas Hoel; her children, Melissa Buxyon Gagne and husband, Mark, Nicholas Buxton and companion, Jasmine Stevens and Erika Kerr and William Hoel; sister, Jane Noel; brothers, Scott Noel and wife, Carol and James Noel and friend, Valerie Dawes; grandchildren, Devon and Zoie, Jace, Jenna and Jaden.
