FARMINGTON — A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita M. Porter was held Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Thomas Lequin as celebrant. Organist was Leeanne Tinker. Bearers were her grandchildren, Zac Conlogue, Griffin Conlogue, Mackenzie Conlogue, Molly Porter, Eliza Porter and Sam Porter. During communion, a granddaughter, Madeline Conlogue played the Concerto Third Movement by Telemann on her viola and Melody by Schumann on the piano and grandson, Thomas Conlogue played the Cherokee Waltz on the fiddle. Winter entombment is at the funeral home, with spring burial at the Blanchard Cemetery, Falmouth. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center.
