Cast members in Leavitt Area High School’s production of the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast” try to convince the beast to change his ways. The play will be staged at Turner school at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14. Also in the cast are Brandon Clark as the pompous Gaston, Jarvis Simpson as Belle’s father and Dawson Curtis as Cogsworth. Penny Appleby is directing with Steve Barter as musical director. The show’s producer is Bill Buzza. Choreographers are students Alli Woodard and Brandi Lavigne. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors over 62, and $3 for children under 5.
