LEWISTON — The Central Maine Human Resources Association will hold its Annual Law Update from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center on Pleasant Street.

Attorney Peter D. Lowe, representing Brann & Isaacson, will provide advice and counsel on labor and employment law and education law. He serves as lead labor counsel for some of Maine’s top employers, including L.L. Bean.

This employment law annual meeting is open to members and nonmembers of the human resources associations in Maine. To register visit http://cmhra.shrm.org/. RSVP by 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. The fee is $20 per person for members and $30 per person for nonmembers. Payment (cash or check only) is accepted at the registration table at the meeting or by credit card online through PayPal when people RSVP prior to the meeting.
