The event will also be held in Farmington at Franklin Memorial Hospital, 111 Franklin Health Commons. To register call 778-6960.
The four-hour co-parenting education workshop for parents is designed to help address problems and reduce the negative effects of separation and divorce. This workshop will address children’s needs as marital and family roles change; the effects of and children’s reactions to separation and divorce; talking with children about divorce or other changes; making decisions about parenting arrangements; dealing with conflict without involving children and helping children adjust to differences between households.
Participants are encouraged to attend the program as early in the separation and divorce as possible. But it’s never too late to break old bad habits and learn healthy new ones.
The fee is $60 per person. Space is still available.
