FARMINGTON — A Jay man was indicted Thursday by a Franklin County grand jury on several sex charges against two children under age 14.
Joshua K. Welch, 31, of Jay, was indicted on one count of gross sexual assault and 10 counts of unlawful sexual contact.
Jay police Detective Richard Caton IV arrested Welch in August 2011 on two counts of unlawful sexual contact.
The abuse occurred from Jan. 1, 2007, to Aug. 15, 2011, according to the indictment.
