AUBURN — Irene Eaton, better known as “Nana,” the daughter of Emilie and Amedee Boilard, passed away with family by her side at the Hospice House on Jan. 12, after a long illness.

Irene loved knitting, crocheting, camping and reading. Most of all, she loved long car rides to enjoy the scenery and looking for lupins.

She leaves behind her son, Michael and spouse, Dorothy, of Jackman; her longtime companion and friend, Dale Pulsifer of Auburn; Irene led a full life leaving behind 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Eaton of Massachusetts, David Eaton of New Hampshire, Deborah Merriam and spouse, Chet of Sumner, Amanda Baker and spouse, Leroy of Jackman, David Eaton and spouse, Brandi of Lewiston, Michael Eaton of Brunswick, Justin Beliveau of Lewiston, Robert Latlippe and spouse, Katie of Auburn, Jennifer Latlippe of Poland and Karen Latlippe of Poland; as well as many friends at the Roak Building in Auburn.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
