KENNEBUNKPORT — The wedding of Chantal St. Laurent and Kevin Angelis was held at 4:30 p.m. on July 16 at St. Ann’s Church in Kennebunkport. The Rev. M.L. Agnew officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Angelis is the daughter of Richard and Diane St. Laurent of Monmouth. Mr. Angelis is the son of Thomas and Kristine Angelis of Davidsonville, Md.
The bride wore a mermaid style gown with ruffled, tiered skirt and one shoulder bodice. The gown featured organza that crossed over pleating asymmetrically throughout the fitted bodice and had Swarovski crystals adorning the flowers on the one shoulder detail. She skirt was constructed from organza with three dimensional effects and accents of feathers and buttons finished the back.
Lauren St. Laurent was maid of honor for her sister. Brielle Bernier, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Serving as best man for his friend was Jordan Brugg. Ring bearer was Forrest St. Laurent, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at Old Marsh Country Club in Wells, after which the couple traveled to San Blas Islands in Panama. They are residing in Stamford, Conn.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in elementary education from Lehigh University in 2005 and 2006, respectively. She is currently employed as a physical education teacher in Greenwich, Conn.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Md., and a 2001 graduate of Lafayette College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business and government and law. He is currently a managing partner at BHMS Investments in New York City.
