PARIS — The Oxford Hills High School class of 1972 is planning its 40-year reunion on July 7.

Soup, chowder fest

OTISFIELD — The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church second annual Soup and Chowder Fest will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at 231 Rayville Road. Snow date Jan. 28.

Menu includes homemade corn bread, hot biscuits from the oven and dumplings.

The event is free. Donations are welcome to help support the church’s Deacon Fund, which in turn helps the people in the community with food, heat and other needs.

College Goal Sunday

PARIS — College Goal Sunday will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The free workshop will provide parents and students of all ages with assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid required for all state and federal financial aid, including loans. Computer labs with online access will be available.
