LIVERMORE FALLS — A Jay woman faces a charge of endangering the welfare of minors in a case involving the planned sale of a marijuana joint to three 14-year-olds, Livermore Falls police Chief Ernest Steward said.

Lt. Thomas Gould investigated and charged Nicole Hennessey, 30, by summons on Sunday on the endangering charge.

A parent of one of the teen told police Sunday that Hennessey had made arrangements to make the sale. The youths contacted the woman to get a joint on Jan. 1, Steward said.

Hennessey is scheduled to appear in Lewiston District Court on March 14.
